My Sentiments For Salayon's Den

Salayon's Den ang tawag namin sa bahay ng barkada since my friend, Joan Salayon is the one paying for the rent. Today will be our last day in that place. *Sniff* (tissue) hehehehe.
I made two people cry this morning... actually three if I'm going to include myself. Ewan ko ba kung bakit naiyak ako sa munting composition ko kanina.
I was kind of bored in our STS class so I got a paper and started writing: My Sentiments for Salayon's Den (Farewell Salayon's Den)
Never have I been to a house full of energy brought about by the friendship established, formed and created by people who deserve to be together for the rest of their lives. For the first time, a small unit with two double-decker beds, an old bench and a huge study table was invaded by laughter along with tears wiped away away by the comfort of this crib of youth. It was a hideout, a place that coincide with the play house we used to make in the corners of our bedrooms back in the days when life was easier to deal with. We are a bunch of teenagers, scared to see what the future has in store for us. Luckily, we have the place to tuck us in that would let us spill out all our fears about what lies ahead. And so, this house has become a learning place that would prepare us for the days ahead through the reality it manifested to us. Life isn't easy but the so-called "den" somehow lightened some of our burdens. It was a place for celebrating some of our achievements, even the stupidest things that happened to us with bottles of beer in front of us. A place for dealing and thinking about what sucks and what doesn't suck, and most of all a place where we find the people we care about. This is where we have learned that a house would always be a house that would not limit you to do the craziest things in the world that only special people would be able to witness it. It was like a second home that even some of the special things such as pillows and stuffed toys from each one's home was brought in there, therefore making it look like and feel like your real home. A home that you could share with friends, our best friends.
Everything about Salayon's den shall be kept in our heads. But the one thing that would be kept in our hearts is the friendship that dwelled in that small but special house in Trancoville.
After writing this on a piece of notebook paper, I passed it to my best friend. Next thing I know, two of my friends were already crying. hahahhaa. Senti noh? Hahaha.
